Sep 30, 2010 · Hello, I've had the Cisco-Linksys E1000 Wireless-N Router for about 5 years and it still works great to this day but, I was wondering if I should upgrade to a newer router and if I missing out on newer tech.

This adapter works fine with most Linksys WiFi routers (i.e. the ones listed in the product description), but please be aware that if your adapter is not listed, the inner contact of your router's connector may be too small for the jack on this adapter, though it should still work (like what happened with my E1000 router).

What was the question that you wanted to know about the The default firmware on my E1000 made it impossible to use as a wireless bridge, until I installed DD-WRT First, pick out a router that supports your specs (number of ethernet ports, etc) and make sure it supports DD-WRT. The most cost effective way is to increase your battery voltage. Most e-Bike has 36V battery pack. It maybe as simple as change it to 48V pack. Checks need to be done that motor and controller can cope with the increased voltage and power.
